Scholarships and Bursaries

The College offers a number of scholarships.

Academic

ACER Scholarship

An academic exam-based scholarship.
 
At Woodcroft College we are pleased to offer scholarships that are designed for students in their final year of primary school for entry into their first year of secondary school.
 
Exams are held at the beginning of each school year prior to a student’s entry into Year 8 the following year.
 
2019 ACER Scholarships have been finalised.
 
Information regarding the registration process for 2020 ACER Scholarships will be available in Term 4/2018.

Achievement

The Bronwyn Lockyer Scholarship

Perpetuates the memory of Mrs Bronwyn Lockyer, an early supporter of the school.

The Dean Shepherd Memorial Scholarship

Honours the memory of Mr Dean Shepherd, also an early supporter of the school.

The Judy Coultas Scholarship

Honours the memory of Mrs Judy Coultas, a much loved and highly respected teacher at the school.

The AC Williams Scholarship

Honours the memory of Mr Charlie Williams, a contributor to the development of the school in its early years.

Community and Achievement

The Judith and Dean Rowe Scholarship

Recognises the voluntary service given by Judith and Dean Rowe to the College and the wider community.

Music

Aspiring Musicians Program (AMP)

Aims to recognise talented, aspiring music students in the Middle School (Years 6 to 9) and encourages them to pursue excellence in their music studies on an instrument or using their voice.

Information for 2018 applications will be available in Semester 2.

Music Scholarship

Enables committed students who are proficient at playing a musical instrument to study music through to Year 12.

Woodcroft College is pleased to offer two Music Scholarships for students entering Year 8 in 2018.

These scholarships will discount the students tuition fees from Years 8 to 12 and are for current and/or new students who are willing to be involved in the Music Program at the school.

Bursaries

 

The College offers bursaries.

Applications are usually received in Term 3 from current families seeking financial assistance with school fees for the following school year.

Bursaries are awarded on the basis of demonstrated need (i.e. financial circumstances or a medical condition).
