‘Romeo & Juliet’ was performed in conjunction with ‘Shakespeare 400’, our festival of literature based activities to commemorate 400 years since the death of the world’s most well-known and popular playwright, William Shakespeare.
Our Year 11 Drama class was proud to perform William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’ last week.
The students, a group of talented young actors, worked hard to connect with the language and create believable characters.
Because of the minimalist and modern approach to the set and costumes, the audience was able to concentrate on the performances of our new and seasoned performers.
We congratulate the students and staff on an outstanding interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy.
