Isabella wins silver at the National BMX Championships

Congratulations to HPAP student Isabella Blackwell (Year 7) who recently competed at the National BMX Championships in Shepparton, Victoria.

Isabella placed second in the final, winning the silver medal and the 2Australia Plate. She narrowly missed first place after an epic battle. Unfortunately, bumping bars with another rider slowed her down and she wasn’t able to chase down the front rider. She came second by just one second!

Understandably, Isabella is super proud of her efforts and she’s keen to try take the gold again next year.

She has also been signed to a new team called Fast Machines Australia along with multiple team sponsors.
