Congratulations to HPAP student Elena Penney (Year 10) on her recent competition results.
In late July she placed 2nd at the Mildura Horse Trials in the EVA95. She was also the first OTT (Off the Track) rider in the 95 class.
More recently, Elena travelled to Werribee in Victoria and competed in the EVA95 Friends of Werribee on her horse La Muso. She placed 1st (in the lead from the start) covering dressage at 71%, a clear show jumping round ( holding her 1st place) and then a double clear round in cross country! Giving her the 1st prize in her 95 division.
Elena also won the highest score OTT rider prize for all the combined 95 divisions and has also been awarded the Kolora Stud Cash Award for the highest placed junior( under 18) rider on an OTT.
Well done to Elena on a great couple of weeks, where she brought home some wonderful prizes and a massive boost in confidence!
We wish her all the best when she travels to Werribee in early September to compete in the 1* Eventing (105cm) at the Spring HT.
