Elsie ProctEr: An Ambassador of South Australia’s new Charter for Children and Young People

10 May 2022

Yesterday, Year 5 student, Elsie Procter, attended Government House, where she was formally recognised as an Ambassador of South Australia’s new Charter for Children and Young People.

The Charter for Children and Young People is a list of twenty things children and young people should have in order to be safe, happy and well – no matter where they are or where they come from.

Elsie is now considering how she can actively promote the Charter at school, with a particular interest in children being able to make and enjoy friendships, having a home where they feel safe, and being able to make a difference to what is happening in the world.

We are so proud of Elsie and congratulate her on this wonderful achievement.
