On Saturday 4 November and Sunday 5 November, Will Lawson, Dylan McNab and Isaac Goodrich (Year 8), participated in the Relay for Life in the Adelaide Hills.
This overnight team event aimed to raise funds for Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services.
The ‘Woodcroft Walkers’ team had a great time at the event, walking 468 laps. They also contributed to the atmosphere by talking to other teams on their laps, creating a mini game at their site, helped the community with laps, nearly froze(!) and felt grateful for the community spirit shown during the entire event.
The team raised $2,500 for the Cancer Council and raised further awareness for a cause that has impacted all three students.
Congratulations to Will, Dylan and Isaac on showing great Generous Spirit to a very worthy cause.
