Layla Amai (Year 8) has recently been accepted into HPAP and over the March long weekend competed at the SA State Age Swimming Championships and had some great results!
100m Freestyle – 5th place (and achieved an Australian Age Championships entry time)
200m Freestyle – Gold medal (and achieved an Australian Age Championships entry time)
400m Freestyle – Gold medal (and a PB on her time which was already an Australian Age Championships entry time)
800m Freestyle – Silver medal (and a big PB on her time which was already an Australian Age Championships entry time)
Layla has been training incredibly hard over the past 12 months and her perseverance and dedication is showing. Well done Layla!
