The Art department at Woodcroft College are a collaborative team who demonstrate Community and Growth as lifelong learners, where students are at the centre of all that we do. Grounded in the understanding of how concepts and ideas foster the creative process, we provide an environment of Creativity and Agency that values independent learning, problem solving and critical thinking.Our curriculum draws upon knowledge about artists from different times, cultures, and contemporary art practices from the art Community. Through a broad spectrum of art disciplines and technologies we are Future Focused. We promote the value of Visual Arts in education, its role in academic performance and future careers for our students.
