As always, our sport students have had a busy start to 2020:
Jake Stummer-Harvey (Year 12) has been selected into the Volleyball SA Academy Program for 2020 as part of the Intensive Squad, with Sam Quinn (Year 10) also making the Emerging Talent Squad.
Hope Smith (Year 12) has been selected as a Development Player for the Southern Tigers NBL1 Team. She was recently presented with her uniform and enjoyed
her first autograph session with fans at the recent Southern Tigers Members Day.
This past week, Harry Green (Year 11) and Matthew O'Sullivan (Year 9) won the Open Boys Division at Round One of the School Surfing Championships.
Maisy Davies (Year 11) won first place in the 90cm show jumping at the Equestrian SA Interschool.
After two days of competition in the mud and rain, Christina Guglielmino (Year 10) came first in the Super Junior and C Grade at the Victorian 2020 IPSC (shooting) state titles in Melbourne.
Noah Hanks (Year 6), Cameron Baldock (Year 7) and Ethan Sheppard (Year 7) have all been selected to represent the Onkaparinga North District during the week long SAPSASA Cricket Carnival.
The following students have been selected to represent Onkaparinga North District at the State Metro Swimming Carnival on Thursday 26 March:
- Year 4: Franklin Oliver and Zoe Williams
- Year 6: Keeley Cook, Zachary Morgan, Matilda Yeoman and Liam Young
- Year 7: Michael Coen,Charlotte Conroy and Alex Graham
- Year 8: Natalie Beech
