Information for Applicants

All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching;
  • current registration to teach in South Australia;
  • certified evidence of mandatory notification training; and
  • acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

Student Counsellor
Permanent Position (1.0 fte) 
Woodcroft College is seeking an engaging and effective communicator as their Student Counsellor, who will build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents. 

The Student Counsellor will be responsible for overseeing programs, initiatives and intervention strategies in relation to the social, emotional and academic development of all students Early Learning to Year 12. 

It is essential that applicants  exhibit a high level of collaborative practice to enable effective participation and engagement within a F-12 school community, and are able to support the Christian ethos of the College.

Woodcroft College is seeking an outstanding educator as Head of  English. The Head of English is a leader of learning and teaching with responsibility for supporting and overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the faculty (including Drama). The Head of English is responsible for leading the academic program, faculty staff and resources to ensure that each student is catered for.

Education Support Officers
Junior School ESO - LINC / Middle School Student Support Officer Diverse Learning Needs)

Woodcroft College is seeking outstanding and caring Education Support Officers for their Junior and Middle Schools.

In order to be successful in the role, you will bring:

  • Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in supporting student learning.
  • Experience in supporting student learning, including students with special needs and disabilities.
  • The ability to support planning, teaching and assessing for student learning in numeracy and literacy.
  • Participates in the planning and participation of excursions and overnight camps that support learning in the classroom.
  • Certified evidence of mandatory notification training.
  • A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos of the College.

Assistant Director
The Assistant Director supports the Director and is responsible for the Educational outcomes and operations of the ELC by bringing a sound understanding of the EYLF and possessing qualifications, skills and experience appropriate to this position.

Woodcroft College ELC Staff are experienced, qualified early childhood specialists who encompass the values of the College through the tailored programs they plan for children.
