All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching;
  • current registration to teach in South Australia;
  • certified evidence of mandatory notification training; and
  • acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

Employment - Positions Vacant

Position One

International Programs Assistant

In this role you will be responsible for the organisation of cultural tours, study tours, study abroad programs, under limited supervision.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Advancement this role will support participation in relevant exhibitions and maintaining agent relationships.

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • A well-developed understanding of Cultural Programs/Study Abroad within an educational environment
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to use the MS Suite of products.
  • An empathy and understanding of the difficulties faced by students away from their home culture and environment and the ability to support these students in an appropriate manner
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to contribute to the College’s goals and direction.
  • The ability to liaise and communicate with agents and stakeholders overseas
  • An ability to undertake a range of tasks and utilise well developed problem-solving abilities to proactively resolve issues that arise at within the department.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workload, to complete daily tasks and to meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to support the Christian ethos of the College

Position Two

Library Assistant – Middle and Senior School

In this role you will work as part of a team to provide library assistance to students, staff and other members of the College community and will assist the College Librarian in the day-to-day operation of the library and other special collections of resources.

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • A knowledge of library operations and the ability to work flexibly across a range of areas including providing advice and assistance to library users and working on the circulation desk.
  • The ability to undertake a range of general library duties as part of a team
  • Confidence to assist and support students, staff and volunteers
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Sound general ICT skills with the ability to learn new systems as required
  • Experience working with people, in particular children and young adults, in a client focused environment
  • Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system and a familiarity with Library Management Systems would be desirable
  • Must be willing to support the Christian ethos of the College
  • Previous experience working in libraries and / or educations systems would be highly regarded
