Information for Applicants

Applications should address the selection criteria and include a curriculum vitae and three professional referees.

All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching;
  • current registration to teach in South Australia;
  • certified evidence of mandatory notification training; and
  • acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

The Woodcroft College Early Learning Centre is seeking applications for the following positions:

Educator (Certificate III) - Contract (Government Funding)
The Educator is responsible for the provision of effective teaching and pastoral care to students within his/her care.

  • Contract part-time position for the period of Government Funding received (approx. 1 year) to support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Monday – Friday
  • Working hours as per funding agreement.

The Educator is responsible for the provision of effective teaching and pastoral care to students within his/her care.

Woodcroft College ELC Staff are experienced, qualified early childhood specialists who encompass the values of the College through the tailored programs they plan for children.

To be successful in the positions, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with students in an Early Childhood setting.
  • A proven ability to support students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
  • The ability to communicate positively with students, colleagues, parents and the general college community and to build a professional rapport.
  • The ability to work with a degree of autonomy or collaboratively as required.
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in supporting student learning.
  • A strong desire to support the Christian aims of the College and create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Essential Requirements for both positions:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience relating to the position as indicated in the Position Description.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 – Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting).
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current Responding to Abuse & Neglect Certificate (RAN-EC Foundation Training/ RAN-EC 2018 Refresher).
  • Evidence of Entitlement to Work in Australia.
