The Extra curricular Program is an integral part of Woodcroft College.
The school offers a variety of music tuition, sports and activities throughout the year (depending on the number of participants, facilities and availability of qualified tutors and coaches).
Sport, although not compulsory, is an integral part of the total educational program and can enhance curriculum learning outcomes for students.
Students are assigned to one of four Houses – Hardy, McLaren, Morphett or Reynell. The Houses compete against one another at Sports Day in the Junior School, and at the Athletics and Swimming Carnivals in the Middle and Senior Schools. The Houses also engage in community service activities and fundraising for charities.
Activities include: T-ball, football, netball, soccer, basketball, skipping club and cricket.
Years 4 and 5
Activities include: football, netball, soccer, basketball, indoor cricket and T-ball, Junior School band, creative movement club and choir.
Students are encouraged to take part in the Oliphant Science Awards, Art Displays and Poetry Competitions.
Middle and Senior School
The College takes part in the state schoolgirls and Independent Girls Schools Sporting Association (IGSSA) Competitions.
The College takes part in the Sport Association for Adelaide Schools (SAAS).

Clubs and Activities
The broad range of clubs and activities includes: activity club, chess, cooking for fun, cycling, debating, slot car club, music, pedal prix, SAPSASA sport and surfing.
Performing Arts includes: the College Musical, The Arts Showcase, and ensembles and bands.
The Anglican Cup
The Anglican Cup is an interschool, one-day competition in hockey, basketball, football, soccer and netball.
The South Australian Primary Schools Amateur Sports Association (SAPSASA) competition aims to encourage participation and team skills development in Year 6 and 7 students.
SAPSASA activities include: athletics, Australian rules football, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, golf, hockey, netball, soccer, swimming, tennis.
The Secondary School Sports South Australia (SSSSA) competition involves students from Year 8 to 12.
SSSSA activities include: athletics, Australian rules football, cross country, netball and swimming.
High Performance Athletes Program
As an accredited World Academy of Sport 'Athlete Friendly Education Centre' (AFEC) click here, currently one of only two in Australia, Woodcroft College has always endeavoured to support our athletes to balance both their sport and academic commitments.
Sport & Extra Curricular Colours
The Colours are designed to instil pride in playing College sport or taking part in the extra-curricular program. They reward long service to the College through a blazer pocket stripe and stripe and embroidery for full colours. Students can nominate for either half or full colours, depending on whether they have been involved over 2 or 4 years.
