Woodcroft College Parents and Friends launched in 2020 with the purpose of building friendship and our sense of community along with the opportunity to generate valuable funds to support the ongoing development of the school.

As a newly formed group, we are still developing our plans which will include one or two annual fundraising events to engage with our parent, friend and old scholar community. We welcome ideas for activities and events from members of our community.

Planning meetings are held on Monday nights up to three times throughout the term. If you are interested in being part of the planning committee or volunteering for one of our events, please email [email protected] and we will ensure you receive an invitation to the meetings or find out about volunteering opportunities.

Funded Projects

Since it launched, the Parents and Friends committee has funded a number of projects around the College:

• Outdoor Games for Year 6 students – Giant Jenga and Finska Sets
• Supplies for 2022 Pedal Prix team race day
• Wall art for Biology and Chemistry labs for Science Faculty
• PA System for Music Faculty
• Two Portable Basketball Hoops for PE Faculty
• Supplies for Pedal Prix 2023 teams at races
• Motion Sensors and Immersive Technology for Science Faculty
