Information for Applicants

Applications should address the selection criteria and include a curriculum vitae and three professional referees.

All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching.
  • Current registration to teach in South Australia.
  • Certified evidence of mandatory notification training.
  • Acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

Woodcroft College Early Learning Centre has been selected by the South Australian Government to deliver the exciting new preschool program for 3-year-olds. We are now seeking an Educational Leader to join our warm, professional team as we expand our offering this year.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide pedagogical leadership to deliver a high-quality, inclusive and play-based early learning program aligned with the EYLF
  • Mentor and support educators to strengthen practice, reflective teaching and continuous improvement
  • Lead curriculum planning, documentation and assessment to meet National Quality Framework requirements
  • Contribute to a collaborative, professional culture that supports children’s wellbeing, learning and agency
  • Work closely with the Director, ELC to drive quality improvement and service excellence

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified and registered Early Childhood Teacher with leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and contemporary early childhood practice
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and building educator capability
  • Commitment to child safety, inclusion and positive partnerships with families
  • Alignment with, and willingness to support, the Christian ethos of the College

  • Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively within a team to create engaging, inclusive learning environments
  • Contribute positively to the daily life of the ELC, supporting routines, programs and events
  • Casual opportunities with flexibility and a welcoming team culture

What we’re looking for

  • Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator
  • A caring, reliable and professional approach to working with young children
  • Sound understanding of early childhood practice and child development
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Willingness to support the Christian ethos and values of the College

Woodcroft College is an independent coeducational Anglican school located in Morphett Vale. Established in 1989, Woodcroft welcomes students from ELC to Year 12 into a progressive, engaged and energetic learning community.
