  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching.
  • Current registration to teach in South Australia.
  • Certified evidence of mandatory notification training.

Junior School Education Support Officer

Commencing January 2026
1 Permanent Part Time and 1 Part Time Fixed Term Replacement Contract Role available

Woodcroft College is seeking an experienced Education Support Officer (Junior) to join our College. This role provides a range of services that supports the learning and participation of students with diverse learning needs across our Junior School.

  • Experience in supporting student learning, including students with diverse learning needs and disabilities in a school environment.
  • Sound ability to work with limited supervision and handle high volumes of work, and organise, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated administrative skills, including experience in a wide range of computer programs including assistive technologies to support student learning and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Inclusive Education Support Coordinator

Commencing January 2026
Permanent Part Time (19.5 hours per week/40 weeks per year)

Woodcroft College is seeking an Inclusive Education Support Coordinator to join our Middle/Senior School Inclusive Education team. This role provides a range of services that supports the learning and participation of students with diverse learning needs across our Middle and Senior Schools.

  • Sound understanding of, and ability to draft, update, and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) (One Plans) and Student Adjustment Snapshots in consultation with the Director of Inclusive Education (DoIE) and teaching staff.
  • Ability to work within a class setting with students with additional support needs.
  • Experience in supporting student learning, including students with diverse learning needs and disabilities in a school environment.
  • Sound ability to work with limited supervision and handle high volumes of work, and organise, prioritise and meet deadlines.

Productive Garden Specialist

Commencing January 2026
Permanent Part Time (33 hours per week/40 weeks per year)
Some casual term break hours will be required, by negotiation

Woodcroft College is seeking a Productive Garden Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of the school’s productive garden program. The role contributes to hands-on learning experiences that promote sustainability, environmental awareness, and student wellbeing.

  • Assist with the care, upkeep, and seasonal planning of the Productive Garden, including the Butterfly Garden and nature trails.
  • Support the delivery of age-appropriate, garden-based learning activities for students (eg growing produce, recycling and environmental science), in collaboration with classroom teachers.
  • Provide assistance with coordinating garden volunteers.
  • Oversee fundraising opportunities.
  • Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Junior School Classroom Teacher (Upper Primary)

Commencing January 2026
12 month replacement contract

Woodcroft College is seeking an experience Junior School Classroom Teacher (Upper Primary) to fill a 12 month replacement contract.

  • Current SA Teacher Registration and a bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • Minimum two years’ experience teaching at an upper primary school level
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, student-centred lessons and effectively manage a classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of Australian Curriculum for primary students
  • Demonstrated ability to assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practice
  • Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
