Applications should address the selection criteria and include a curriculum vitae and three professional referees.

All teaching position applicants must have the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to the area of teaching.
  • Current registration to teach in South Australia.
  • Certified evidence of mandatory notification training.
  • Acceptable working VISA if an overseas applicant.

If the applicant is a new graduate, an academic transcript and practicum reports should be supplied.

The Design, Technology & Engineering Teacher plays a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning within the Middle and Senior School. Through thoughtful planning, inclusive practice, and positive relationships, the teacher supports students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. This position requires a commitment to excellence in education, professional engagement, and the Christian values of Woodcroft College.

  • Ability to teach Design, Technology and Engineering subjects from Years 7-12
  • Current SA Teacher Registration and a bachelor’s degree in Education
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, student-centred lessons and effectively manage a classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of Australian Curriculum for secondary students
  • Demonstrated ability to assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practice
  • Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Permanent Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced pastoral care leader to join our Middle/Senior School as the Head of Year 11/12. The successful applicant will be appointed as a permanent full-time teacher, with the Head of Year 11/12 leadership role offered as a five-year tenure, with the option to continue following a review. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the educational outcomes and wellbeing of our senior students. The role rotates year level each year so that the Head of Year follows the cohort through Years 11 and 12.

  • Demonstrated experience in a pastoral care leadership role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience teaching at a secondary level, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional student outcomes
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of teachers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia

Woodcroft College is an independent coeducational Anglican school located in Morphett Vale. Established in 1989, Woodcroft welcomes students from ELC to Year 12 into a progressive, engaged and energetic learning community.
