College Captains

Each year two Year 12 students are appointed to the role of College Captain. Their appointment is by way of voting from the student and staff community.

Our College Captains accept responsibility to lead the student body, to be a strong and positive role model, and to represent the College community to the best of their ability.

MEET OUR 2023 COLLEGE CAPTAINS

As your 2023 College Captains, we aim to support and promote the improvement and betterment of every student at Woodcroft College. Beyond role modelling for our peers, we hope to allow each and every student to embrace their specialities, explore their individuality and delve into their possibilities. With our encouragement along the way, we cannot wait to witness the potential of those around us, as they exceed their self-set goals and equip themselves with skills throughout their time at Woodcroft. To even be a small part in everyone’s journey is a privilege we honour.

As new Captains of the College, we intend to contribute and build upon the legacy of our previous Captains and collaborate with the schools’ current staff and students to produce the leaders that will shape our future. We both love the closeness of our Woodcroft community and aim to retain and personally contribute to the successful learning environment synonymous with our great College throughout the four sub-schools (ELC, Junior, Middle and Senior School). Our shared desire to continually improve the capacity for student growth, creativity and agency mirrors that of our school values, in which we hope to further develop their importance as pillars of the College community.

Finally, and most importantly, we aim to encourage all Woodcroft students to develop their skills, step outside their comfort zone, achieve their fullest potential and Find Their Remarkable.
