The Principal of Woodcroft College is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school.
When from time to time issues of concern arise about a school policy, practice, program or procedure, it is expected that parents will discuss the matter with the appropriate staff member in the first instance.
If the matter cannot be resolved in this way, then the parent should refer it to the relevant Principal, the Deputy Principal – Quality Learning and Teaching, the Director of Inclusive Education, the Director, Corporate Services or the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Student Experience.
If the matter is still unresolved, the parent should refer it to the Principal.
Where the matter concerns the Principal, it should be referred to the Chair of the College Council through the school.
Members of the College community should understand that Woodcroft is an independent school.
Neither the Minister for Education nor the Department for Education and Child Development has the authority to intervene in the affairs of the school.
Similarly, the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia has no authority to intervene in the affairs of the school.
