Woodcroft College is a coeducational, Anglican day school for students from ELC to Year 12.

At Woodcroft College we exist to shape well-balanced, successful young people.

We encourage our students to explore and understand their potential. We teach kindness and generosity to ensure that when our students leave us, they understand how the world works, how they can be part of it, how they can create change and always work to be the best they can be. We want our students to be comfortable in their own skin, to express themselves and celebrate what makes them unique.

In short, we help our students “Find Your Remarkable.”

Ayanna, Year 11

A performer since the age of two, Ayanna is what they call a ‘triple threat’ with her talents in singing, dancing and acting. She has achieved many accolades in her early career, including winning National and State titles and also attaining High Distinction for both her dance and vocal exams.

Training 20 hours a week over six days, Ayanna gained a spot in the High Performance Athletes Program at Woodcroft to help her manage her studies around her intense training schedule. Ayanna was also awarded a Music Scholarship, studying in vocals.

The Year 11 student has great ambitions and dreams of one day performing on a world stage. She also plans on going to university to study Sports Psychology.

Max and Dexter, Year 11

In Year 10, both Max and Dexter chose Robotics for the first time and haven’t looked back.

Max hopes to become a Robotics Engineer in the future and having the option to study Robotics at school offers a great pathway.

“I have always had an interest in robots and how they move,” he said. “I know robots are part of our future and I am excited that I will continue to study in this field after school.”

For Dexter, it was the opportunity to try something new and he has now gone on to study Robotics in Year 11.

Find Your Remarkable

Emily, Year 6

Emily started playing the violin when she was six years old after her piano teacher advised her mum that Emily had ‘perfect pitch’. Receiving her tuition at Adelaide University Conservatorium since 2019, Emily continues violin and piano lessons.

Emily came to Woodcroft College in 2020 in Year 3 and has since joined the Concert Band and String Ensemble. She has the honour of being the youngest Concert Band member in its history.

Now in Year 6, Emily was presented with a Violin Grade 7 Prize at the AMEB SA & NT Awards Ceremony for 2022 Candidates at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide. In July she performed at the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Concert at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide.
