Woodcroft College is a coeducational, Anglican day school for students from ELC to Year 12.

At Woodcroft College we exist to shape well-balanced, successful young people.

We encourage our students to explore and understand their potential. We teach kindness and generosity to ensure that when our students leave us, they understand how the world works, how they can be part of it, how they can create change and always work to be the best they can be. We want our students to be comfortable in their own skin, to express themselves and celebrate what makes them unique.

In short, we help our students “Find Your Remarkable.”

Max and Dexter, Year 11

In Year 10, both Max and Dexter chose Robotics for the first time and haven’t looked back.

Max hopes to become a Robotics Engineer in the future and having the option to study Robotics at school offers a great pathway.

“I have always had an interest in robots and how they move,” he said. “I know robots are part of our future and I am excited that I will continue to study in this field after school.”

For Dexter, it was the opportunity to try something new and he has now gone on to study Robotics in Year 11.

Find Your Remarkable

Natalie, Year 11

Year 11 student and High Performance Athlete Program member, Natalie Beech has not let her real fear of sharks hold her back from competing in open water swimming at a national level.

With her extensive training regime and holding down a part-time job, Natalie is exactly the type of student who benefits from HPAP.

“I knew about the program but had no idea the difference it would make to helping me balance school and commitments to training and competing,”

“I know HPAP will be invaluable to me in Year 11 and being able to choose Integrated Learning – Sport and Health will allow me to investigate a range of relevant topics while contributing to my overall SACE credits,” she said.

Find Your Remarkable

Jordan, Year 10

In 2019, the Outdoor Education Team formed a Mountain Bike Club for students who have a love for adventure in the outdoors.

Year 9 student Jordan Brown enjoys riding with his mates and the formation of the Mountain Bike Club got him thinking about competitive riding. Jordan said, “I wanted to learn more about riding and improve my skillset for the trails.”

“I enjoy the team community, everyone being able to try new things, and just having fun on bikes.”

Find Your Remarkable

Layla and Olivia, Year 9

Layla and Olivia have always had a passion for the environment, creating fun and interesting things, and taking care of our natural world.

“Since joining the Green Team, we have been part of many different projects and after realising we needed more time to work on them, we joined the Curiosity Club.”

They have refurbished two garden beds at the back of the school, joined the Youth Environment Council of SA, and helped run a Nude Food Day in the Junior School. They are now working together on creating a sustainable bush tucker garden to teach people about biodiversity and organic living.
