HPAP student, Finlay Bailey (Year 10) won Bronze at the National Athletics Championships held during the school holidays.

During the championships, Finlay competed in four events – Long Jump, 100m, 200m and 400m.

He finished fourth in the 400m knocking 2.59 seconds off his PB and also fourth in the 200m missing out by just .03 of a second.

He was strong in the 100m, knocking .23 of his previous best and coming second over the line, winning Bronze medal (due to classification percentage scoring).
