After securing a place among 30 other students from around the state, Year 10 student, Sharon Ng participated in the Teen Parliament on Friday 8 March.

In her quest to shape a brighter future, Sharon advocated for our state to become a global leader in medical AI. Her visionary proposal of introducing “AI doctor robots” to assist medical professionals garnered attention, highlighting her innovative spirit and forward-thinking approach.

Sharon said, “Doctors can be given more time with patients if ‘AI doctor robots’ replaced their human counterparts for tasks such as consultation, first aid, and administrative work.”

Sharon’s ambition doesn’t end there – she envisions starting trials of this groundbreaking technology in schools, recognising the potential to revolutionise healthcare delivery in the coming decade.
